The term Voice of God or more well known in the UK as the "voice of the balls", is used to describe those announcements that need to be made at live events to inform, announce or advise the listeners that something is going to happen.

I have delivered live announcements at many many conferences, awards dinners, parties in the UK. From a one hour awards presentation announcing the nominees to a crowd of 400 store managers to 1500 factory employees getting a raffle draw, these things need confidence, humour, experience of production and I guess quick wits, credentials that I am pleased to have.
